The problem with generic claims
"High quality" and "best in class" appear on nearly every competitor's page too, which means they tell a buyer nothing. Claims that could apply to any product in the category don't help anyone decide.
What actually convinces a buyer
- Specific numbers — dimensions, capacity, duration, material grade
- The problem it solves, stated plainly, before the feature list
- What's different about this option compared to the obvious alternative
- Real usage context — who it's for and where it fits their day
A quick before-and-after habit
Read your draft and ask: could a competitor copy-paste this line onto their own product page and it would still make sense? If yes, it's too generic — replace it with something only true of your product.
